Feedback is a word in English that means feedback; we can use it as a synonym for response or reaction, or, from a more technical point of view, to refer to a method of control systems.
In this sense, the feedback may be the reaction, response or opinion which gives us a partner as a return on a specific subject: “I presented my report to shareholders and the feedback was very positive”.

On the other hand, as feedback may be called the method of control systems, in which the results of a task or activity are reintroduced again in the system in order to make the necessary modifications, either to control the system, either to optimize their behavior.
As such, the term is used, in the latter sense, in specialized areas, such as management, engineering, communication, psychology and electronics, among others.
comes from the English, and is composed with the verb to feed, which means ‘feed’, and back, which translates into Spanish ‘back’ or ‘return’. Your translation can be ‘feedback’ or ‘feedback’.
Positive and negative feedback
Within a system, the feedback can be both positive and negative, depending on the consequences having within its operation. Thus, the negative feedback is the one who helps maintain balance in a system, countering and regulating the consequences of certain actions, while positive feedback is the one where the system grows or evolves into a new State of equilibrium.

Feedback in communication
In a communicative process, as feedback call sent by the receiver to the sender of a message, and serving to the latter for any responses or relevant reaction:
Make sure that the message served its communicative intention, and so that the transmitter can vary, reconfigure or adapt the message to the receiver according to the response that go with this.
Thus, for example, if the message is altered by some sort of barrier (noise, distance, etc.), the issuer may increase voice until the receiver so feedback that the message has arrived properly. In this way, the receiver completes the process of communication with feedback, i.e., the response or reaction of the receiver to the sent message.
Feedback in business administration
On the theories of business management, as feedback is called action review, assess and consider the performance of a person or group of persons in the performance of a job or task. As such, it is an action that reveals the strengths and weaknesses, strengths and negatives, of the work undertaken in order to correct, amend, or improve it.
Feedback on Psychology
In psychology, the feedback is a tool of interpersonal communication that allows us to say to our partners, verbally or not, the effect causing us their words or actions. Behaviors of individuals, in this sense, work inside feedback loops, this means that a person’s conduct affects that of others, being that the first, in turn, will be also influenced by behaviors that come back, and so in the future.
Feedback in electronics
In electronics, as well as in areas related, such as electrical engineering, referred to as feedback to the feedback of a system, which, as such, involves the transfer of the output signal to the input of the same system or circuit, resulting in an increase in the output level (positive feedback) or a decrease in the level of output (negative feedback).
Also in a sound system, feedback is the return of a fraction of the output of an amplifier or microphone to the input of the same signal, which causes a distortion of the sound produced as a result.
