Meaning of Reproduction

what is the reproduction:

Playback is action and effect of play. The term reproduction is of latin origin and is made up of a “re” prefix and a suffix “tion” since it refers to something that reproduces or copies of an original, for example, play a sound, play archaeological objects, among others.

In relation to the human species, the term reproduction is to breed new organisms. Human reproduction is the fundamental biological process of living organisms since it allows the continuation of the human species and conceive of living beings like them. Reproduction is classified mainly in sexual and asexual, there are other forms of cellular reproduction, plant, among others.

In relation to the above, the reproductive system consists of a set of tailored organs that allow both females as males, to work as a sexual and specially prepared to make procreation possible, is what is known as natural fertilization. In reference to this point, there are couples with problems conceiving naturally and as a result during the second half of the 20th century there were important studies in the field of biology in reference to assisted reproduction.

Meaning of Reproduction 1

Reproduction assisted, known as artificial insemination, are a set of artificial treatments in order to address the issue of infertility caused by damage or blockages in the fallopian tubes and infertility in men. Some artificial methods to achieve a pregnancy are: artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization, gamete, among others intrafallopian transfer. In Mexico, at the end of the 80’s were created for assisted reproduction clinics.

Sexual reproduction

Sexual reproduction involves the combination of male and female gametes to produce a Zygote to be this genetically different parents. In the case of human reproduction, assists men and women through natural or artificial fertilization of the latter through artificial treatments. The female reproductive system consists of 2 ovaries that produce female hormones, 2 fallopian tubes that carry the egg to the uterus, own uterus, and vagina connected to the external genital, at the same time, the male reproductive system consists of testicles causing sperm and male hormones; a system of ducts that carries the sperm, the glands that contribute to the secretion of semen and the external genitalia, the scrotum and penis.

Sperm fertilizes an egg, creating a Zygote that will culminate with the development of an embryo through a series of mitotic divisions. Sexual reproduction is observed both in animals and in human beings.

Meaning of Reproduction 2

Asexual reproduction

Asexual reproduction occurs through the detachment of a cell or pieces of the body of a living being by mitosis or fission processes form a new be identical to who plays it. Asexual reproduction occurs by 3 modes: budding Division, fragmentation, bipartition, sporulation, poliembronia, parthenogenesis.

In addition, asexual reproduction is seen in animals, plants and micro-organism.

Cellular reproduction

Cellular reproduction is the process by which new cells from a mother cell originates. Cellular reproduction is from the division of cells, cells eukaryotes reproduces through mitosis, at the same time, the cells prokaryotic originates through sporulation, budding, biparticipacion. In addition, another type of cell reproduction is meiosis, i.e., a diploid cell becomes haploid cell.

Differential reproduction

Differential reproduction is a phenomenon of evolution since not all humans have the same odds of survival and, therefore reproduce as there are human beings with strong characteristics which make it capable of surviving to external factors and is a result that is chosen pursuant to its characteristics more suitable, which reduces the chances of the least fit to reproduce. In addition, their descendants inherit the characteristics of their parents and those who are least capable of features will most likely and the fittest will survive
