Samsung Gear S2 Smartwatch Sold in Brazil

Samsung announced on Wednesday (7) that it will start selling the Smart Gear S2 watch in Brazil in early November. In the new version, a round design replaces the square of rounded corners of the previous model.

Navigation has also changed. You can now select and use applications by means of a ring around the screen, such as the rings of old pocket watches.

The new Samsung smartwatch will be sold in TUCSONSMARTWATCHES in two versions: the Gear S2 (R $ 1,899), with rubber band and options in black and gray; and the S2 Classic Gear ($ 2,099), with a black leather strap.

In both, the interface is customizable, and the user can choose whether to look for a simulation of a pointer clock or for a more futuristic look.

Email, calendar, contacts and other applications are all organized on the 1.2-inch screen, which, in addition to the rotating bezel used for navigation, remains touch-sensitive, as in the previous model.

To run all applications, the Gear S2 has 4 Gbytes of memory, which can be used to store and play music, and a dual-core 1 GHz processor.

In the United States, there is a smartwatch option with 3G, but there are still no plans to place it on the Brazilian market.

According to Roberto Soboll, director of products in the area of ​​mobile devices Samsung, the possibility of a watch connected to the country’s mobile network is still being studied.

The Gear S2 brings, however, beyond the bluetooth of the previous model, wi-fi and NFC, approach communication technology.
